Sometime s I wonder if they are actually concerned and trying to help or more worried about the culture of keeping everyone trapped alive for as long as possible

Is suicide really more selfish than someone saying “You shouldn’t do something because I’ll be sad if you do it!”?
Right!?!
Except they don’t even do that, they disguise their selfish motivations as “doing what’s best fo you”
